Teacher Infant Communication

It is very important to us the teachers and parents are in partnership with the care of the children. Weekly communications are emailed to the parents by the Lead Teacher to prepare the parents for what is coming up in the week ahead.

Below is a sample of an email communication one of our teacher's sent to the parents of her classroom. (All names have been changed to protect the privacy of our students and teachers)

Good Early Evening!

What a week we have had! It is so exciting to watch all of our students form unique relationships with one another-and it only gets more interesting the more children we have.  Our newest student, Jennifer has made a perfect spot for herself amongst her new and inviting buddies-we have loved welcoming her into the Bonsai room.

We are in the midst of an awesome musical week, and the children have really shown us how much they enjoy making beautiful music.  I believe we will have to start looking for a record label to sign our new "Bonsai Band"

Following up to our continuing sign language lesson- we have seen wonderful interest and progress!! Keep up the practice at home!

Our next lesson plan, officially starting next Monday, focuses on our first sense to emerge- the sense of touch.  This sense includes temperature, pain, the feeling of contact and proprioception-the sense of the position and movement of one's body.  The lesson plan is attached-containing plenty of information that you will be tested over next Friday.  :)   Kidding, but if you have any questions please feel free to let me know- it is a lot of information we threw at you.

As a side note-Everyone is growing in so many ways- right in front of my eyes. I look forward to continuing this journey with them-It has been so much fun!  Thank you for making it all possible and so wonderful.

Have a brilliant day,
