Toddler Daily Schedule

8:00 am: After checking in your child at our secure check in, it's off to their classroom and their favorite teacher.

8:30 am: Your toddler's teacher gathers all the students together on the rug for circle time.  Together they learn to sing and act out the song "I'm a little teapot."  Through action and music your child is learning verbal and non-verbal communication, their ability to express their feelings is enhanced and their vocabulary is increasing.

9:00 am: It's learning center time.  Your child chooses to mold and pound homemade play-dough into animal shapes, building their gross motor skills.  When they notice a classmate digging in the dirt they decide to join in and explore what is happening by planting and watering seeds in the nature center.

9:30 am: It's snack time!  While enjoying a healthy organic snack from Green Monkey, your child practices their manners and builds social skills with their friends and their teachers.

10:00 am: It is a beautiful day outside, a perfect opportunity to go outside and play.  At our tree tops playground the teacher encourages the children to join in a game of follow the leader.  Building their listening skills as well as their vocabulary, your child attempts to hop on one foot imitating the motions of their teacher.

11:00 am: Now back in the classroom and a little tuckered out from all the running around outside, the teacher settles the children down for a soothing music activity.  After giving each child a handful of soy crayons and a piece of paper, the teacher turns on a classical music CD and models for the children as she draws on her own paper along with them.  As your child enjoys the music and the crayons they are also learning how to express their feelings through art.

12:00 pm: With bellies beginning to rumble it's time for a nutritious organic lunch.   Helping themselves to a serving of organic bowtie pasta with organic vegetables and shaved parmesan cheese, they expand their independence and abilities to be self reliant.

12:30 pm: Now it's time for rest. Settling in on their cot your child drifts off to sleep.

2:30 pm: Waking up from rest it's time for another yummy organic snack.  Your child munches happily on an organic berry rice bar and sips organic apple juice.

3:00 pm: With happy bellies and busy bodies it's a good time to jump in the buggies and spend some time at the park running around and enjoying the afternoon sunshine.   Your child really enjoys holding their teachers hand along with other classmates and singing "ring around the rosie".

4:00 pm: Back in the classroom it's story time and the teacher chooses to read "Brown Bear Brown Bear" by Eric Carle with the children.  Helping to complete the story with repetition they're building early reading skills.

4:30 pm: It's learning center time again.  This time your child chooses to play with toys in the water table.  Enjoying the feel of the water through their fingertips while at the same time, heightening their sensory awareness.  Once this activity is no longer of interest, they practice their ability to manipulate objects as they build a tower of blocks with their teacher's assistance.

5:30 pm: It's almost time to go home. You arrive to find your child reading a story with their teacher on the carpet.   They run and give you a big hug and their teacher tells you about all the fun things they did during the day.
