Teacher qualifications at Little Green Tree House
Monday – Friday (Full Time Hours) We prioritize Lead Teacher candidates who have an Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education. We require all Lead Teacher candidates to meet DCFS prerequisites of at least sixty college credit hours, with six credit hours minimum in Early Childhood Education, and, in addition, one or more years previous teaching experience. Child Development Associates (CDA’s) will also be accepted with one or more years of previous teaching experience.
Monday – Friday (Full Time Hours) Qualified teacher applicants must have at least the DCFS prerequisites of sixty college credit hours, with six credit hours in Early Childhood Education, in addition to one or more years previous teaching experience. Monday – Friday (Part-Time Hours) Requirements: Previous experience working with children. Candidates must have a minimum six credits of childhood coursework. Must be available to work the same hours, Monday through Friday. Must meet & follow requirements of licensing agencies. Candidates must maintain professional interactions with children, parents and co-workers.
